Thomas Blanco White
An eminent QC and IP scholar
IP Hall of Fame inductee in 2010
A specialist in patent law, Thomas Blanco White authored books and textbooks that were relied upon throughout the Commonwealth and which earned him an international reputation as one of the greatest thinkers and writers about IP of his generation.
Having successfully practised at the Bar, in the late 1960’s Blanco White became head of his chambers. Under his leadership, 8 New Square became the largest chambers in the UK specialising in IP and produced no less than four judges, including IP Hall of Fame inductees Lord Justice Jacob and Sir Hugh Laddie.
