Appointed a circuit judge for the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit in 2010 by President Barack Obama, Judge Kathleen O’Malley has also contributed to the IP community as an educator, instructing federal judges on how to handle IP cases at the Berkeley Center for Law & Technology, and teaching at Case Western Reserve University Law School.
